Hardwood Flooring is a classic look that has transcended centuries of style. It's natural, eco-friendly, and incredibly durable. Is the most sustainable floor covering option out there. It's the only one that's naturally renewable.
Laminate is extremely durable, impact-resistant, and scratch-resistant thanks to a tough exterior layer and resin coating. Laminate flooring is great for high-traffic areas such as the entryways and the paths in the hallways between the bedrooms.
LVP (luxury vinyl plank) serves as an excellent substitute for both hardwood and tile floors due to their ease of installation and their luxurious finish. LVP is very easily maintained and super simple to clean. It is also completely waterproof, which is a must if you have kids or pets.
Vinyl planks, unlike wood planks, are 100% water and moisture resistant. This is one of the biggest advantages of vinyl flooring, making it ideal for any environment where the floor may be exposed to water.
Hypoallergenic – Tile is inhospitable to dust mites, mold, germs, and bacteria and often used to replace carpet for people with allergies or asthma. Low maintenance – Ceramic tile is easily cleaned, often only with warm water, eliminating the need for chemicals and cleaners needed to maintain other types of floors.
Carpet tiles are easy to take care of. Many tiles have mold and mildew resistant properties, and some can even be used outside because they’re weather-resistant.
These carpets are also often made from low-pile fibers that are short and densely packed. That means dirt and stains won’t be able to work into the carpet fibers. They’ll stay on the surface where you can easily clean them up.
Thin brick is desirable in part because it provides the look and feel of a brick installation without the weight or construction requirements when using full brick. With thin brick, a brick finish is not restricted to the confines of a footer and labor intensive masonry work.
Aggresive sanding and refinishing are best suited for solid hardwood floors - flooring comprised of solid maple, aok, or another hardwood throughout the thickness of the planks.hardwood flors with 3/4-inch-think planks can accept three or sometimes even four sandings over their lifespan.
